Candace McCowan

Candace McCowan has been part of the WSB-TV Family since July 2022. She anchors WSB Tonight at 11 p.m. on weekends and reports across metro Atlanta on Channel 2 Action News during the week. McCowan has covered the pandemic from the epicenter in the United States and covered protests and rioting after the death of George Floyd. She is from Alpharetta, Georgia where she graduated from Centennial High School. Since then, McCowan graduated from the University of Alabama and worked in Savannah, Memphis, Tampa and most recently in New York City. McCowan is married with one son and enjoys nothing more than spending time with her extended family in Metro Atlanta.
