ATLANTA — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Northwest Atlanta.
Officers said they were called out to the Peaks of MLK apartments in the 2400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW shortly after 8 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
When they arrived at the apartment, they found the man already dead inside.
Members of the homicide unit were called to look into the matter. The investigation is ongoing.
