DACULA — If you didn’t buy any Girl Scout Cookies this season, don’t worry, there are more.
But maybe too many more.
Channel 2′s Berndt Petersen learned that because of social distancing, the girls can’t set up booths to sell their cookies.
Some troops say they are now stuck with hundreds of boxes of unsold cookies.
Nine-year-old Scout Ellie Graham said selling cookies is not as easy as it looks.
"It's pretty hard, because you have to ask every single person," Graham said. "Sometimes they say no or ignore you."
The girls smashed sales records anyway -- until about three weeks ago.
"There was definitely a moment when we had a little bit of shock," said troop leader Susan Graham. "Gosh, we have hundreds of boxes of cookies left. What are we going to do?"

The Girl Scouts organization decided early on that safe social distancing meant no booths and no setting up at special events.
Some troops and individual Scouts are now in a tight spot.
"We had to shell out the money to pay for those cookies," co-troop leader Lauran Stancel said. "I'm a teacher. That's a hard hit to pay for 200 boxes of cookies."
That adds up to $800.
There's now an online blitz to help push sales. Troop 17905 in Dacula is asking people to donate money to buy some cookies and the Girl Scouts will safely delivery them to local hospitals, fire stations and police department as a little treat for first responders.
Graham said she's all in.
“I really think this plan will work to give back to our community and a lot of people feel the same way,” Graham said.
