Strong storms possible for parts of west Georgia

Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan tracked showers for the morning commute on Channel 2 Action News This Morning.

Monahan says there is a risk for isolated strong to severe storms later today.

There is a Level 1 out of Level 5 risk of severe storms for areas south and west of Atlanta
Rain and damaging wind gusts are the main threat
Today won’t be a total washout for other parts of north Georgia.
