After storms blew through metro Atlanta on Tuesday, another round is possible on Wednesday.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan says strong to severe storms are possible, especially areas along and south of Interstate 20.
The main impacts are heavy rain and frequent lightning, but strong wind gusts and hail are possible.
Here’s what you need to know for Wednesday:
- Level 1 out of 5 risk for severe storms on the southside
- Wedge front moves in tonight with much cooler weather tomorrow: upper 60s with showers
- Scattered storms will return this weekend, especially Saturday night into Sunday morning
