LANSING, Mich. — A man in Lansing, MI., was pulled over by police for going over 156 mph on Sunday, officials say.
The 33-year-old man was driving a 2020 Dodge Charger Sunday when he was stopped by Michigan State Police on Interstate 496 east by Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, police said, according to WLNS.
A Michigan State Police trooper had clocked the man going 156 mph in a 70 mph zone on the Interstate, WJBK reported.
The man was driving the car with a license that had been restricted, police said, according to WLNS.
Police issued the man tickets for reckless driving and violating the conditions of his restricted license, according to WJBK. The man was not arrested pending a review from the prosecutor. The man’s 2020 Dodger Charger was impounded.
