Runaway Bride Returning To Altar?

GAINESVILLE, Ga.,None — Runaway bride Jennifer Wilbanks could finally tie the knot.

The New York Post reports, five years after she left her fiancé at the altar, faked her own kidnapping and sparked a nationwide manhunt, Wilbanks is set to get married.

Wilbanks, 37, is engaged to landscaper Greg Hutson, according to the Post. Her Facebook page featured pictures of both.

It was five years ago when then-32-year-old Wilbanks disappeared while jogging a few days before her lavish wedding.

The Atlanta suburb was turned upside down as her friends and neighbors joined police in the search. Wilbanks eventually turned up in New Mexico, where she recanted the kidnapping story and said she fled because of unspecified personal issues.

Wilbanks later pleaded guilty to felony charges of lying to police and agreed to pay the city of Duluth $13,250 to help pay for the overtime costs the city incurred searching for her.
