MARIETTA, Ga. — Power was knocked out to about 2,000 customers in Cobb County Thursday morning when high winds blew tree branches onto some power lines.
Most of the households and businesses left in the dark are in the Marietta and east Cobb area.
Repair crews were working near the intersection of Robinson Road and McBurnette Road, according to Lynn Wallace of Georgia Power.
There's no word on when the power will be restored.
