A South Carolina pastor and another man jumped into the flood waters to rescue a vault and casket holding the remains of woman who recently died.
Pastor Wayne Reeves waded through the water to retrieve an unearthed vault, pushing it to the side of the road on live television, WCBD reported.
While Reeves retrieved the vault and casket out of the water.

The woman was buried in May.
"That's somebody's family out there. This family is suffering. They had their family out there popping up out of the ground and I think it's the human thing to do," Reeves said.

The county sheriff's later found a second casket. The second belonged to the husband of the woman.
The cemetery at Canaan United Methodist Church had been flooded since the rain began last week.

Family members said the couple will be reburied when the water recedes, WCBD reported.
