Duo arrested in Tennessee for running over, killing woman at local Walmart

NEWTON COUNTY, Ga. — A police source confirmed to Channel 2 Action News an arrest was made in a fatal robbery at a Covington Walmart.

Police arrested a man and a woman in Manchester, TN for allegedly killing Marsha Penn Johnson on Nov. 16.

A witness helped a Georgia Bureau of Investigation sketch artist come up with images of the suspects. He witnessed Marsha Penn Johnson, 65, get robbed and then run over.
 
"She didn't have to suffer like that he could have just stopped and gave up." The witness, who asked not to be identified, told Artz.
 
The incident was captured on camera. The witness crashed his car into the suspect's gray Honda Accord causing damage.  He told Artz he tried desperately to get the suspects to stop.
 
"(I yelled) 'Stop! Get out!  Help is on the way. Get out!' But he didn't, he threw the car in reverse, left." The witness told Artz.

Both people arrested by police in Manchester, TN for this are facing murder, robbery and multiple other charges.
