Puppies rescued following high-speed chase

LAMAR COUNTY, Ga. — Three puppies are back with a breeder after deputies rescued them following a chase with two accused dog thieves from South Carolina.

Investigators with the Georgia Department of Public Safety say brothers Raheem and Anthony Robertson took the dogs from a home in Milner.

Deputies had to use a pit maneuver to end the chase, which topped speeds of 100 mph.

They said a third man got away.
