LAGRANGE, Ga — A Publix employee in LaGrange made quite an impression on several customers when he broke into "America the Beautiful" near the checkout counter Friday.
Several residents posted video of the remarkable performance on Facebook saying it made their afternoon.
On a day that holds a history of tragedy for America, this employee, named Phillip, was a beautiful reminder of the patriotism that runs so deep across the country.
"Look what I was blessed to enjoy while checking out at Publix today. What a wonderful way to remember 9/11!" one woman posted.
"It was such an awesome moment - I had goose bumps!" wrote another woman.
Thank you Phillip for this wonderful tribute.
