Police identify body found in car trunk

The body was found in the 2200 block of Brooks Avenue in northwest Atlanta around 6 p.m.

ATLANTA — Police have identified the body of a man found last week in the trunk of his car.

Atlanta police identified the person as 19-year-old Devontavius McClain, a Griffin resident reported missing last week.

From the air, investigators spotted the car Friday night behind an abandoned apartment complex on Brooks Avenue in northwest Atlanta.

Police have not released McClain's cause of death.
