12-year-old found safe after abduction from Forest Park

FOREST PARK, Ga. — UPDATE: Police confirm to Channel 2 Action News that Telia Moena Battle has been found safe.

Forest Park police are looking for Telia Moena Battle, 12, who they said has been abducted.

Battle was walking south on Hendrix Dr. with her five year old brother Friday night when a car approached them.

Police said a heavy set black female grabbed Telia by her shirt and pulled her in to the back seat of the vehicle.

Investigators said the vehicle was occupied by approximately four to five black male and female passengers. The vehicle fled northbound on Hendrix Dr.

Telia is approximately 4’00” in height and 65lbs. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jean shorts and pink high top sneakers. Her hair is braided in to a Mohawk with bright red highlights. She has a dark complexion and goes by the name Chocolate.
