PICKENS COUNTY, Ga. — A Pickens sheriff's deputy was involved in a crash on Sunday morning.
According to the Pickens County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, the crash occurred on Highway 515 near Noah Drive.
The deputy's vehicle rolled over and he was ejected, according to the Sheriff's Office.
He was airlifted to Kennestone Hospital and is alert and conscious.
The other driver was also transported to an Atlanta hospital in serious condition.
The Georgia State Patrol's accident reconstruction team is investigating the accident.
