JACKSON COUNTY, Ga. — A drug bust in Jackson County ended with one man behind bars and facing drug trafficking charges.
Last week, officers stopped a car at a QuikTrip gas station in Jefferson and found that the driver, 29-year-old Darkevion Dwayne Parrish, had fentanyl, heroin and Percocet pills on him.

Officers later conducted a search warrant at his house and found five pounds of marijuana, Oxycodone pills, amphetamines, and two stolen handguns.
The fentanyl had a street value of $2,700, the marijuana had a street value of $12,500 and the heroin had a street value of $125.

Parrish was subsequently arrested on a laundry list of charges that includes:
- Trafficking fentanyl
- Possession of heroin
- Three counts of possession of Schedule II pills
- Possession with the intent to distribute marijuana
- Two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
- Two counts of theft by receiving stolen firearm
- Reckless conduct

Parrish is being held in the Jackson County jail.
