COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A man and 9-year-old girl were taken to the hospital after police say they were ejected from a motorcycle during a crash.
The crash happened around 4 p.m. Saturday on Delk Road at Franklin Gateway.

Marietta police said a driver in a 2018 Honda Accord was stopped on Delk Road waiting to turn onto Franklin Gateway. A motorcyclist on a 2012 Harley Davidson bike was driving on Delk Road and coming up on the intersection.
Police said the driver of the Accord left the turn lane and tried to cross several lanes of Delk Road but got into the path of the motorcycle.
The motorcycle hit the front of the car, ejecting both the driver and his 9-year-old passenger.

The motorcyclist was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital while the 9-year-old girl was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
The crash remains under investigation and police have not said if charges have been filed.
