LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Highway 316 was shut down at Highway 20 for several hours Tuesday morning due to a logging truck crash.
Channel 2 traffic reporter Mark Arum said two trucks and a car crashed in the construction zone in Lawrenceville in Gwinnett County just before 6 a.m.
One of the trucks overturned, losing its load of logs, and there was a diesel fuel spill, the DOT said. One vehicle also reportedly caught fire.
Authorities said three people were injured in the crash.
Lanes reopened just before 8 a.m.
