GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Tenants of a local apartment complex have a growing problem they said needs to be taken care of immediately.
Residents at the Autumn Vista Apartment complex in Duluth said the trash has been piling up for a month.
Channel 2's Audrey Washington went to the complex Thursday, where she arrived to find trash spilling out of containers.
The pile was filled with rotten food, toilets, strollers and furniture.
"The trash is horrible," said Cedric Sears, one of the many residents who is fed up.

"They don't even care. As much money as we pay and they can't pick this up? Like look at this, we got freaking baby strollers, toilets -- like, really," Sears told Washington in anger.
Another tenant told Washington it all started when one of the trash containers broke. Residents said their complaints are ignored.
"Each time that I'm walking, you know, come home relaxing, this is what you see. It's ridiculous," said Morgan Elias, another resident.
Washington made several calls to management, but while out covering the story, she ran into a leasing office representative.
“We are taking care of it and it’ll be done as soon as possible," the employee, who did not want to be identified, told her.
Soon after speaking with the leasing office, a crew showed up but not to clean the trash. Instead, they told Washington they were there to remove large furniture.
The people who live and pay rent said they deserve better and some place clean to call home.
"I made numerous attempts like 'Hey, can we try to help, or pay me and I'll even bust it up,' but it don't matter because they don't live here," Sears said.
The representative for the complex said this issue hasn't happened before and the trash should be out this week.
