ATLANTA — Georgia Tech unveiled its 2025 football schedule and for the second year in a row, the “Clean Old-Fashioned Hate” rivalry will take place on Black Friday.
Georgia Tech and the University of Georgia will face off the day after Thanksgiving on Nov. 28. Last year’s rivalry ended in dramatic fashion with an eight-overtime win for the Bulldogs in Athens.
The kickoff time will be announced closer to the game, but we do know that it will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the first time.

The regular season finale is one of seven home games that Georgia Tech will host in 2025. Other notable home games include ACC conferences games versus Clemson, Virginia Tech, Syracuse and Pittsburgh.
For the conference road games, Georgia Tech will travel to Wake Forest, Duke, North Carolina State and Boston College.
The Yellow Jackets open their season on the road against Falcons legend Deion Sanders and Colorado. It will mark the first meeting between the two programs since they split the national championship vote back in 1990.
