MACON, Ga. — It was an emotional moment at a Macon hospital last week.
The staff at Coliseum Medical Centers lined the hallways of their facility to pay their respects to an organ donor on her way to give the gift of life.
The hospital posted the touching video on its Facebook page.
The video shows dozens of hospital doctors, nurses and other staff members standing and lining the hallway as the organ donor is wheeled in from the ICU to the operating room.
“While one family grieves, somewhere another person is able to receive a second chance at life,” the hospital wrote in its Facebook post.
The Donate Life flag will be flying this week in her honor at the hospital.
The hospital wants to people to consider becoming an organ donor. You can learn more here.
