Deputies searching for murder suspect, woman believed to be in “extreme danger”

BUTTS COUNTY, Ga. — The Butts County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a murder suspect and a woman they say is in in “extreme danger."

Cody Bryce Matthews is wanted on murder and aggravated assault charges for a homicide that happened Sunday.

Deputies said the 20-year-old is considered armed and dangerous.

Matthews is believed to be with Autumn Keara Finlay. Deputies said Finlay is in extreme danger and possibly being held against her will.

A reward is being offered for information leading to Matthews and Finlay’s whereabouts. Call 911 and the Butts County Sheriff’s Office immediately if you see them.
