SMYRNA, Ga. — The Smyrna Police Department say they arrested as suspect accused of breaking into vehicles after a call came in to their 911 communications center.
Police said they got a phone call from a caller saying her vehicle was actively getting broken into. Police got there and arrested the suspect.

As they investigated, police learned the suspect broke into several vehicles.
While searching the suspect’s vehicle, police say they found the caller’s belongings inside, along with stolen items from several theft from autos across other municipalities.

Police credited the work done by their night shift officers in arresting someone who was wanted across multiple jurisdictions in several theft from auto cases.
As a reminder, Smyrna police encourage neighbors that if they see something, say something by calling 911. Also, be sure to lock your vehicle and remove all valuables.
