ATLANTA — UPDATE: Crews have cleared the area near the Peachtree Center MARTA station where a suspicious package was found. It’s unclear what the package was.

Authorities have blocked off an area of downtown Atlanta due to a suspicious package.
The location is Ellis Street NE and Peachtree Street.
Crews evacuated the Peachtree Center MARTA station. Bus service is running from 5 Points to Civic Center.
Atlanta Fire is on scene investigating.
