Man removed from Delta flight after refusing to wear mask properly

ATLANTA — A man had to be removed from a Delta flight headed to Atlanta for refusing to wear a mask properly.

It happened just before the flight was set to take off from Aruba on Thursday.

The airline said the flight attendant asked the man to cover his nose and mouth.

Witnesses said the man told the flight attendant that he wouldn’t and threatened to hurt her.

The man also attempted to talk to the captain in the cockpit.

“As he was leaving, the most graphic language that you could possibly imagine just came spewing out of his mouth and I wish we all could have just covered our ears,” passenger Todd Benson said.

The man was eventually removed from the plane. There is no word if the man will face any charges.
