ATLANTA — People living in a northeast Atlanta development say more needs to be done to keep them safe.
Neighbors shared surveillance video with Channel 2’s Lauren Pozen that shows a man peering into a homeowner's window and another shot that captures a car break-in.
People who live at the Carlyle Heights Condominiums told Pozen they feel violated and vulnerable.
“My fear is because they are getting so bold, that what is next is somebody going to be robbed in their home at gunpoint or when you go outside to get your car, walk your dogs,” one victim said, asking not to be identified.
The victim said she and others in the community are in fear after months of car break-ins and robberies.

Surveillance video shows thieves breaking a car window, then popping the car trunk, taking whatever they can.
It doesn’t stop there.
Last week, thieves hit the complex again. Surveillance video shows a person on the back deck of some of the condos, looking into the windows.
Just a few days later, the condo was broken into.
“I feel like they have been watching the neighbors’ patterns, because the neighbors had just left probably not very long ago before this happened,” the victim told Pozen.
Police said an Xbox, jewelry box, flat screen TV and spare car keys were stolen.
People who live in the condo complex said they don’t feel safe. Pozen contacted property management about the issues and they told her they had no comment.
For peace of mind, neighbors in the community are watching for any signs of trouble.
“We are calling 911. We are not even going to give you a chance to even look out of place in the neighborhood,” the victim said.
The management did send out an email telling people in the complex to be more alert, but those who live there told Pozen they would like to see more done to ensure their safety.
