Ikea ATM Recovered After Store Break-In

ATLANTA — Police said they have recovered an ATM stolen from the Ikea store at Atlantic Station.

The ATM was found on Freedom Parkway, across from the Carter Center. Investigators said they also recovered the van used in the break-in.

Investigators told Channel 2 Action News reporter Mike Petchenik that five men used a crowbar to pry open the doors to the store and ripped the ATM out of the concrete floor. Officials said the men did not go after anything else. The men put the machine in the back of the van and took off.

Police are still searching for those involved.
