FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. — Another student was found with a gun at a northwest Georgia high school on Friday.

In a statement posted to their Facebook account, the Floyd County Police Department says they learned from a school resource officer the juvenile was in possession of a handgun.
The officer made contact with the student and recovered the gun without incident.

Law enforcement officials say the student was detained and charged. It is unclear what charges the student is facing.
