SANDY SPRINGS, Ga.,None — A woman was killed Wednesday morning after being thrown from a car during a crash in Sandy Springs, said Lt. Steve Rose with the Sandy Springs Police Department.
The single-car crash happened just before 4 a.m. on Johnson Ferry Road between Riverside Drive and North Harbor Drive.
Police identified the victim as Christina Emily Wofford, 21, of Marietta. Investigators said Wofford was killed when she lost control of her Volkswagen Passat and was ejected when the car left the roadway.
