FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga.,None — Officials in Forsyth County said four teenagers have been charged with murder in the execution-style killing of a grocery store security guard.
Forsyth County jail officials confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that Nakitta Holmes, 19, of Buford, was taken into custody and is in the Forsyth County Jail. Holmes is the fourth person charged in connection with the shooting and robbery at the Ingles on Canton Road late Sunday night.
Karleen Chalker of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday that in addition to Holmes, Tyrice Adside, 18, of Cumming, Sharod Johnson, 18, of Cumming, and a 16-year-old juvenile have been charged with murder and armed robbery.
A fifth man was being questioned in connection with the crimes, but he has since been released.
Officials said security guard David Casto, 37, of Winder, was killed during the robbery. He was employed by Executive Security Services of Atlanta.
"He was a good guy. A warm, breathing human who isn't with us anymore," said Casto's friend, Tina Brewer.
Detectives said the robbery and shooting was an inside job orchestrated by Johnson, who was an Ingles employee.
"He had received instructions from the other individuals of what he was to do, how he was to lure the security guard and the other employees into the back room," said Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton.
Casto was tied up with duct tape and forced inside a freezer with other employees, police said. Deputies said one of the robbers took Casto's gun and shot him in the head.

Casto's boss, Bob Copeland, spoke to Channel 2 Action News over the phone.
"It's particularly terrible because what I can determine talking to police is that this is not someone who shot him in the act of robbery, but he was executed, which is horrible to contemplate," said Copeland.
Adside, Johnson and Holmes are scheduled to go before a magistrate judge for their first court appearance on Wednesday.
