ATLANTA — It was a chilly Thursday morning, but temperatures are becoming more mild as we head into Thursday afternoon.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Ashley Kramlich says we saw a very chilly start to the morning, but temperatures are becoming more moderate throughout the day.

Temperatures across metro Atlanta and north Georgia were in the upper 30s early on Thursday morning, but will be in the upper 40s by 12 p.m. once the sunshine comes out.
By the afternoon, Kramlich says temperatures will be in the 50s.

A wedge will set up over the weekend which will bring more clouds and cool temperatures.
But some relief is on its way. Kramlich forecasts temperatures in the low 60s by Monday.
