The Braves have signed former Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig to a contract, according to media reports.
MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand reported the signing per a source on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.
Channel 2 Sports Director Zach Klein asked Braves manager Brian Snitker if he could confirm the signing. Snitker said he didn’t know.
Puig started his career with the Dodgers before the team traded him to the Cincinnati Reds in 2018. The next summer the Reds traded the outfielder to the Cleveland Indians.
I asked Snit about the report the Braves have signed Yasiel Puig and he said it's news to him.
