The Atlanta Falcons have made several cuts to their roster Monday morning, according to multiple reports.
The Falcons plan to release veteran running back and former Pro Bowler Devonta Freeman. NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport first reported the news. ESPN also confirmed Freeman’s release.
Freeman was drafted by the Falcons during the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He had a breakout season in 2015 as one of the league’s leading rushers in touchdowns.
