ATLANTA — A winning Georgia Lottery ticket worth over $200,000 was sold in Valdosta. One Stop #0001, located at 3980 N. Valdosta Road, sold a winning Quik Pik ticket worth $210,726 from the Feb. 9 Fantasy 5 drawing.
The winner, Willie Hamilton of Valdosta, claimed his prize Feb. 10 at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Tifton.
Winning numbers from the Feb. 9 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 5-16-18-25-37.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $16 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.7 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.3 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
