“Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro has picked up a piping bag once again, but not with his dominant hand.
The celebrity baker is practicing cake decorating using his left hand.
He had previously said he wasn’t sure if he would be able to ever make his intricate cakes again, the “Today” show reported.
His dominant right hand is healing after an accident damaged nerves, tendons and muscles, People magazine reported.
Valastro’s right hand was impaled multiple times by part of a pin-setting machine at his in-home bowling alley.
He has had two surgeries to repair the damage, People magazine reported.
Valastro was joined by three of his four children, with his wife Lisa watching over the creativity session, the “Today” show reported.
Lisa Valastro said, “He will bake again, even if he has to use his left hand," People magazine reported.
