MARIETTA, Ga. — A Marietta taxi driver was mugged by three armed teen passengers Wednesday just after 6 p.m., according to the Cobb County Police Department.
Investigators said the male Taxi International driver picked up three teen boys, who requested to be taken near the intersection of Karastan Court and Windage Drive.
As the driver approached the destination, all three passengers allegedly displayed their weapons and demanded the victim's property, police said. Two of the teens had handguns and the third was armed with a knife, police said.
Police said the perpetrators took the victim's wallet, cell phone, an undisclosed amount of cash and fled through a nearby neighborhood.
