GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A Good Samaritan who tried to help a shooting victim get to the ER instead took the man to a McDonald's after failing to find a hospital.
Gwinnett County police said someone shot the man near an apartment complex on Sweetwater Road.
The victim flagged down the driver and asked for a ride to the hospital, but the driver didn't know how to get there.
The driver dropped the victim off at the McDonald's on Pleasant Hill Road. An ambulance later arrived to take the victim to Gwinnett Medical Center.
There is no word on the man's condition
