ATLANTA,None — A group of about 20 protesters gathered in front of the BP station on Moreland Ave. just south of Euclid Avenue in Atlanta Saturday.
"BP's been telling lies day in and day out," said Dee Sasser, one of the demonstrators.
The group is calling for BP's U.S. assets to be seized – a tactic they believe will help speed up and guarantee a through clean up.

"We want BP's assets seized to ensure there is immediate and appropriate clean up in the gulf," said Karen Heim, who told Channel 2 Action News that she didn't drive to the location where the protest was held.
"Before stockholders get another penny, these people who are suffering from BP's major screw up in the gulf need to be taken care of financially," said Sasser.
Besides a few heated discussions, there were no reported incidents during the protests.
