ATLANTA — Possessed souls, insane clowns and wicked creatures temporarily call Six Flags home as the park hosts its annual Fright Fest.
Here are some of the top attractions at Fright Fest.
-Walk through Dr. Fright's Frightorium. Every October, Dr. Fright holds what seems like a friendly neighborhood Halloween costume party. Local townspeople have no idea that the costumed zombies and ghost are actually real- his creations crafted from murdered patients. However, unsuspecting guests don’t realize it’s also a way to lure new people to his house so they can be the next experiment in the death lab. It's a haunted house full of terrifying clowns that come at you in 3D!
Have a thirst for zombies? Axis Arena has been transformed into a campground for all seeking refuge from the zombie apocalypse. But when the undead overtake the fledgling camp, it may become the most dangerous place you can go. Check out ZX-1.
Deep within the Southern Cemetery nearby the Dark Harvest, there lies the Boregard Bayou swampland, today known as the Bayou Bloodlust. Legend has it that Voodoo priestess Evelyn Laverdiere use to inhabit these swamplands and would sacrifice wandering victims to the evil spirits of the Loa so she may be protected by the beasts of the swamp, including the dreaded werewolf creature known as the Rougarou. Check out Bayou Bloodlust.
