ARLINGTON, Texas — A man accused of driving while intoxicated was arrested after authorities said he tried to getaway and ended up in a lake.
According to KSAT, police said officers began chasing the suspect Friday evening after getting reports that an impaired driver had hit another vehicle.
The 40-year-old man drove his vehicle into Lake Arlington, KSAT said.
The driver has been charged with driving while intoxicated, evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance.
