Woman questioned after man found dead inside tractor trailer

ATLANTA — A woman is being questioned after police found a man shot to death inside a tractor trailer in southwest Atlanta.
 
Investigators said they have not yet charged her, they are waiting to get her side of the story. Channel 2's Darryn Moore said his sources revealed the  woman has confessed to shooting the trucker.
 
Officers found the man dead inside his tractor trailer parked outside the Days Inn on Forrest Hills Drive just after midnight.
 
A source close to the investigation told Moore they found the woman inside one of the rooms at the motel and recovered a gun.
 
Investigators said the victim is in his 40's and police said an argument may have triggered the shooting.
 
"Some type of verbal altercation escalated to the gunshot, so the male does have a single gunshot wound to the head," said Atlanta police Lt. Charles Hampton.
 
Investigators are working to her side of the story before filing any charges.
 
Police have yet to confirm what trucking company the man works for or if he's a local driver.
