DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police are searching for a gunman after a double shooting outside a plaza on Briarcliff Road.
A witness told Channel 2's Darryn Moore off camera that he and a group of friends were eating at a restaurant at the Williamsburg Village Center late Sunday night when they heard an argument and walked outside.
As they watched the fight, the witness said someone pulled out a gun and fired in the air, and then fired into the crowd, shooting two people in the leg.
One was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and the other was taken to Atlanta Medical Center. Both have non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers canvassed the nearby apartment complex where they believe the shooter ran. Police have not provided a description of the shooter.
