A flyer has been circulating on social media about a July 4th weekend event called “Turnt Island” which is organized by the same people who planned the unpermitted 2023 Orange Crush event.

On Thursday, city leaders are supposed to discuss a resolution that would allow them to request members of the local delegation to sponsor and support legislation that would expand the powers of the city, according to WJCL.
