NEWNAN, Ga. — Newnan police are investigating a drive by shooting that sent three people to the hospital.
Police say two men were sitting on the front porch of their home on Washington Street when a burgundy-colored car drove by the home and someone inside fired multiple shots toward the house.
The two men, ages 20 and 24, were hit and taken to the hospital by ambulance.
A 57-year-old woman inside the home in her bed was also hit by the gunfire. She was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital.
Police say a fourth person in the home was not injured. All of the victims lived in the home.
Police are investigating. They have not made any arrests.
