Sheriff’s office offers hilarious ‘tips’ for Georgians driving in the rain

OCONEE COUNTY, Ga. — A Georgia sheriff’s department had some hilarious (and obviously fake) advice for how metro Atlanta drivers should handle rain.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Department posted the advice on their Facebook page Thursday after heavy rain from the remains of Hurricane Sally moved through.

“Headlights. Who needs 'em?” deputies wrote. “Turn them OFF in the driving rain and drive in stealth mode. Two or three of you had your lights on this morning like losers. Stop it.”

TRENDING:

The tongue-in-cheek post went on to poke fun at drivers going too fast.

“Faster means you will be the first to the scene of the crash,” the post read. “Don’t settle for second place.”

Deputies went on to compare drivers to NASCAR racers and say that Dale Earnhardt Jr. would be ashamed.

Check out their hilarious “tips” below (and please everyone, slow down in the rain!)

Y’all are doing a pretty good job driving in the relentless rain, but as always some of y’all don’t get it. Please...
