DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — A man suspected of breaking into his neighbor's house, and then stabbing the man to death when he came home is due in court for his first appearance on Thursday.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, David Baltadano was attempting to steal from neighbor Donald Peden's home on Wednesday when Peden walked in.
"(Peden) came home, the defendant (Baltodano) pulled a knife and stabbed the man several times," Sheriff Phil Miller said.
Baltodano, 27, was arrested and charged with murder.
Miller said he does not know if the two had problems in the past.
