Say goodbye to spring-like weather: Cooler temperatures are on the way

ATLANTA — If you have enjoyed the spring-like weather, say goodbye to it for now. Winter is coming back to metro Atlanta.

Here’s what to know:

• Temperatures will be in the mid-40s and upper 30s in the northeast Georgia mountains by 9 p.m.
• Clouds move in around 11 p.m. Friday. You will need coats as temperatures drop overnight.
• Rain is in the forecast for part of your weekend
• Next week, temperatures will dip down into the 20s
