ROSWELL, Ga. — At least 20 people are displaced after a fire tore through a condominium building in Roswell Monday afternoon.

Fire officials said the blaze broke out at the Martin’s Landing condos on Teal Court. The blaze destroyed the roof of 18-unit building.
NewsChopper 2 was over the scene, where parts of the building appeared to have sustained significant damage.
Firefighters said they were able to get everyone out and no one was injured.
The Red Cross is assisting 12 families with temporary lodging, food, clothing and personal care items.

Roads were shut down in the area and parents with children at Esther Jackson Elementary, which is nearby, were asked to use a different entrance to pick their children up.

Investigators said the fire is under control and investigators remained at the scene Monday night.

Roswell Fire Department is currently working a significant structure fire in the area of Teal Ct. and Martin Rd. Martin Rd. is shut down between Quail Run and the Martin Rd. tennis courts.
