Officers said they were called out to the home of 34-year-old William Powell around 2:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day when someone there called to file a missing person report. Police learned that Powell took an Uber to meet the man at a hotel. The people who reported Powell missing did not know the date’s name or the name of the hotel.
