ATLANTA,None — An Atlanta business is alerting customers after several car break-ins in their parking lot.
Channel 2's Amy Napier Viteri got a copy of surveillance video from Atlanta Rocks climbing gym that shows a man targeting cars.
Atlanta Rocks has posted notices advising customers to remove valuables from their cars before entering the building. The staff is taking precautions because someone broke into cars parked in front of the building on Collier Road during business hours.
Surveillance video from Feb. 9 showed a man walking up to several cars and shining a flashlight into windows.
"It was during one of our more crowded hours. The parking lot was completely full," employee Dan Heller told Viteri.

The man in the video later returned to the cars. Employees said he broke windows and stole items from several customers' vehicles. He then ran off to an area out of the camera's view where staff believes he parked his own car.
"He somehow seemed to find that perfect time where there's no one out in the parking lot no one coming in no one going out," Heller said.
Customer Ashli Holman said someone broke into her car and stole her purse at another workout spot in the past. She said since then, she's been taking precautions.
"I definitely do not leave my purse in the car or GPS out. I used to do that and do not do that anymore," Holman said.
Heller said staff has been working to let customers at the rock climbing gym know about the break-ins so they can take steps to protect their property. The store has several cameras monitoring the outside area. Staff members are also leaving a door open as much as possible to have a clear view of the parked cars.
